MIT alumni receive salaries of 110,000-196,000 USD per year (2.7-4.9 billion VND) after 5-10 years of graduation, the highest compared to bachelors from other universities.

Payscale, a provider of compensation data and software, analyzed degree and employment data from more than three million alumni from nearly 1,500 colleges in the U.S. They then ranked schools by the median salaries alumni earned five and 10 years after graduation.

The median salary is the middle level, with half of the survey data falling above it and the other half falling below.

The results show that MIT graduates earn the best salaries. The median salary of MIT graduates after five years of work is more than $110,000 a year. With 10 years of experience, that figure rises to about $196,900. At the bottom of the top 10 is Harvard University, with alumni salaries of $95,600 and $177,400 after five and 10 years, respectively.

In general, after 10 years, the salaries of university graduates all increased.

This is significantly higher than the median salary for young American college graduates, ages 25 to 34, which was $65,000 (women) and $77,000 (men), according to statistics from the Pew Research Center, in 2023.
